Hey if you have any pelts that you have not sold yet or are keeping. Dont forget you'll need a permit to keep them. Except beaver.
You can get your permit with the DNR officer in your county.

Whats the process for this,do they take an inventory of what you have and then write it for them?

How long does the permit last? Does it cost anything?

Did mine over the phone but I think they have the option to visually count them. Mine expires June 1st.

Good question tjk. Pretty simple you'll need the phone # to the DNR officer in your county. Call him. He /she will come out to your place & take a count of what you have for total amount of pelts kept. Im sure some DNR Oficers may just send them in the mail to save time & money for them. But, most will want to just stop by and count for themselves.
Justwannano. Permits do not cost anything at all (just a little of your time). The DNR officer ask me how long I want the permit for, I replyed untill the begining of next season Nov 1, 2009. He said Ok.
