If you want to talk about dispatch methods it's best you pm someone on here. Not a good idea to talk openly about that on the open forum.

10-12cc's of acetone is the norm.
Darren we aren't an open forum anymore, everyone has to be registered to view this part of the forum since the change over, so I think its ok to talk about it. (with common sense of course)

Kaatz Bros. and Rob Erickson both have good books on skunk dispatch and product use.

I watched their video on essence. I think this would be great but I really don't think I have a place to do skunks. My wife wouldn't go for it. LLL

And get ready for some failures. I/ve had skunks where the normal 10cc didn't do much. Had to hit them again, and again.
I also had skunks that just would not settle down. Agressive from the first sight of me. Every one that I tried to talk to instantly sprayed me. I got better at it but always an orngery one once in awhile. Its also a time consuming deal.
After two years, I have gone back to shooting them at a distance with a .22 rifle in the lungs. Some don't spray but some do. Don't shoot in the head. The spray and spray and spray.
I skin and collect the essence out of ever skunk I get. I used to skin in the basement before the new shop was built. Of course one skunk in the batch didn't like its tail being pulled. The house (and the wife/s uniforms) smelled delightfull for awhile after that.
Good luck...Stay upwind if you can and only wear stuff you can ruin...which is what we all pretty much wear during season anyhow.

Thanks for the heads up Calvin. I know I'll catch a few in my Coyote sets.
