Any good tips on how to keep all the rain from washing away the lure on castor mounds? Would adding mineral oil to the lure help?

Old beaver dens are quick to set up by sticking a glob of lure on stick and placing it in the roof of the hole...

Good stuff 4fur! Lanolin makes a good choice to water proof your beaver lure as well. ~ADC~

just throwing this out there, you probably already know that beaver season is closed until november, are you still trapping them anyway? if so and not on your own land you are required to have a nuisance wildlife control permit
