I'm pretty sure we wont get to our record cuz we had over 120 2 years in a row then just over a 100 1 year but i do think we will end up with 85 or 90 for the year tho!

Well we called it a year after a great day of hunting yesterday, we saw 7 killed 6 yesterday by 2:00 pm would of had that 7th one also but we had 4 going a one time and only got 3 of the 4 killed...But had a great year with some great friends and cant wait to do it all again next season, we ended up with 85 coyotes for the season not a record but still not to bad for not having snow for 70% of the season!

Usually start out driving around at first light and try to spot them, get everyone around that section and put the dogs on the tracks were the coyote was last seen. If we fail to c 1 usuall u can find fresh tracks where they crosed a road or just walk them into a good area like big timber or brushy creek bottom on the down wind side and sometimes they will catch there sent and take off. We use marine radios in our trucks and hand helds on foot to suround and cut off the coyote and kill em. Easyer said than done most times. Unbelievable what there capable of doing when being chased by dog or human.

I got talked into going out one more time yesterday, we only had one truck plus the 3 dogs, we saw 2 killed one but after we killed the first one we got stuck in a corn field going after the second one or we would of had that one too, After bring stuck that took over a hr to get out so we called it a day...That brings are total up to 87 for the year!

Stuck in mudd or snow? Or both? U guys use shotguns or riffles? I keep both in the truck but the shotgun's usually what i use. Also keep a pistol handy for when the dogs bay them.

I had to sell my ar this winter for parts, my barrel came loose fromm the barrle extension wich is not supose to happen and can not simply b re tightened. Made me sick to get rid of it but cant find a replacement anywhere, thanks to all the hoarding. Hopefully this crap blows over and prices drop so i can buy another one.
