bought a new pair of chest waders last year got them hanging in the garage by the boots they are lacrosse rubber was wondering if anyone puts any oil or anything on theirs to delay rot ?

I would try to keep them out of the sunlight,i store mine in the basement hung up straight with no bends and put armorall on them at the end of each season and they dont dry rot.

I would wipe them down with armor all.

I also use armor all on all of my rubber products that go into storage. Avoid creases by stuffing with newspaper especially up to the knee.

armor all times 3, it is the uv rays that break the rubber down, armor all protects from the UV rays, i bought the armor all wipes for simplicity purposes.

Jump/climb over barbed wire fence with extreme caution EVERY time and let me know if you find a Lacrosse factory outlet that sells six packs for cheap! ;D

The last pair I owned - the directions said to
"Wad up into a ball and store in the trunk of the car"
I followed the directions to the letter and they lasted just as long as those I abused.

Funny, Mine said to leave in the back of the truck until next season, and don't use armorall. Sudden stops and armorall equals thud on back window!
