Had 2 that way yesterday. Today the traps I had in yet do to running water, were under 1/2" of ice. Nothing like chopping ice and changing strategies week and half in to the season.

Had a mink like that today.Got home parked in the sun and it still didn't thaw enough to get it unstuck from the truck bed .I had to go and get some water to get it loose.That reminds me I sneaked it into the basement and put it in the shower to thaw.I better go check on it.
