We can set in the ditches and under bridges as long as we dont cross the fence. How does that work where some farmers angle their fence to the bridge. I know why so the creek dont rip out the fence but can I legally cross it to get under the bridge? Thanks

I pass up those locations with fences up to the bridge/road.
Even though I know I can 100% legally set it, and often know the landowner and they don't give a darn if I'm trapping there.
But I will NOT cross barbed wire fence with chest waders on! No Way, No How!!
So if the coon/mink out there are reading this, you are safe where there is fences up the bank to the bridge/road where I trap.

Very Nice ADC do you have a link or can you send a printable copy I drew that graphic, PMed it to Chris Flynn, IA DNR officer, he verified it. That said you may still piss off the farmers by crossing them but that's up to you. lol ~ADC~

If you can use the gate, you might save yourself a pair of waders or a set of wet feet. ;D
