I'm getting my son some 1.5 coilspring traps and snares for Christmas. I've never trapped but a good friend of mine used to do it alot so he should have a good teacher. I've got to do some more research as I'm guessing I will have to get the FH lic and since he's under 16yrs old he will work off of my lic or am I wrong? Since he is 12yrs old, should I have both our names listed on the trap tags or just his or just mine?? Dad/Son address town, state

They have youth fur harvester licenses for people under 16. It's cheaper so you each should have your own. Also it wouldn't hurt to have both your names on the tags.

Both names should be on trap tags as I just found out from dnr officer in Cedar county. I have a 14 year old daughter that is trapping with me and her name wasn't on my tags.

Good that is how they should work. Bet you have new tags in the future. Funkeys trap tags is where we get ours.
