Nice mink. I got a couple out in some open water but nothing yet been out 3town weeks. Maybe no mink up this way or I'm doing something wrong. Nice

I love them Pinky. Had never used them before this year. We don't have many mink around here. I have actually never caught one but did see one last year. We do have a few otter though, which may explain the mink shortage. We are only 9 days into our season and I have caught 5 otters. 2 of them in a duke 1 1/2 double jaw on chain drowner fish stick sets.
Gonna be one of my good producers. Nice that I was able to get some fish heads late......THANKS JAYME!

I have never really tried to catch them before, always got a few in some beaver sets but am trying to target them a bit more. Bought some extra traps so I can afford to leave them sit for a while. My biggest surprise is catching the 2 and holding them in Duke 1 1/2s..

I set mine so the fish is right at waterline or slightly above.

Thanks. I have a small open area below a beaver dam. Thought I could set it. Open water should be a magnet for mink. I am hoping anyway.

If you have part of the fish touching the water it helps keep the fish from drying out,,maybe an inch or so in the water

Cool! So a fish stick is nothing but a fish skewered on a stick...interesting.
