the DNR pays taxes on land like pointed out and the Feds pay taxes/tax adjustments on WPA (waterfowl production areas) GROUND WE ALL CAN HUNT AND TRAP ON

money for the dnr has ear marks to go along with it, like fish stocking money is different then land purchusing money. Most people do not understand that Schools are the same way. There is no money to pay teachers but they can put in a new football field.... It seems really stupid to me. ~ADC~ Yeah, those teachers making 50-70K per year are extremely underpaid. The myth of the underpaid teacher is just that, a myth, pushed by the NEA. I live in a small town that just recently published the salaries for all of its teachers. There were VERY few under 45k. Not bad for a 9 month gig. |
