Talked to Dwayne Kay tonight. Sounds like a very rewarding and educational meeting for not only the Supervisors but all trappers in attendence. Don't know who spoke for the DNR besides Ron Andrews but he did a great job explaining where the trail money comes from and how they should be open to all users.

I think that to leave it at the top is a reminder as to how easily things can change in the political arena towards trapping. You had an uneducated board, possibly going to make uneducated decisions, based on emotions and misconceptions. I personally think it should stay here just so everyone knows that it could happen in their county on the whim of one person on a board.
If the DNR had not gotten that call and forwarded the information onto others, Dickenson county may have been a precedent setting county for the rest of the state to follow.
If Jayme wants to unsticky this, I don't have a problem with it.
